Windows Task Scheduling (Cron for windows)

April 25, 2012

I hate the windows task scheduler. Where possible I always use at from the dos command prompt.

At is easy.

To view jobs (e.g. cron -l for windows) just type at from the dos command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)

To create a new job that run’s every weekday at 3am you would do the following

at 03:00 /every:M,T,W,Th,F c:\myprog.exe

Winner!
